Four Timon Athletes Earn Placement On All-Catholic Football Teams

Four Timon Athletes Earn Placement On All-Catholic Football Teams

Three players included on 1st Team
Jordan Hill- First Team Utility player
Offensive Stats:
(RB) 102 carries, 483 yards, 4 TDs
(QB) 9 completions, 170 yards, 3 TDs
(WR) 6 receptions, 65 yards, 3 TDs
Defensive stats
(LB) 48 tackles
Head coach Joe Licata, "Every time Jordan stepped on the field, something special was going to happen.  He was the catalyst of our offense, accounting for over 50% of the team's production.  He was second in tackles defensively, always bringing the energy.  Jordan's numbers do not compare to his affect he had on his teammates.  This young man was/is a consummate leader in the Timon community and represents what a Tiger should be. I could not be more proud of the man Jordan Hill is growing into."
Cullen Tonge- First Team Punter
Net Avg. 33.4 yards
Long: 74 yards
Offensive Stats (WR):
Receptions: 37
Yards: 475
Touchdowns: 1
Defensive Stats (DB):
Tackles: 32
Interceptions: 3
"Cullen Tonge is a phenomenal athlete who did everything for the Timon Tigers.  He played receiver, cornerback, punted, and kicked off for us.  Cullen excelled in all three phases of the game.  He was our number one receiver, and consistently gave our quarterbacks a down-field threat.  Cullen's drive to be a great player on the field and person off of it will drive him to success in whatever avenue he chooses to pursue", added Licata.
Connor Dean - First Team Defensive End
78 tackles
Tackle for loss: 8
Sacks: 2
"After the season ended I re-watched 4 games of ours.  I was hard-pressed to find someone more dominant in those games than Connor Dean.  Connor is a hard worker who loves the game of football.  He is driven to succeed, and not due to selfishness.  His ability to draw out the best from others is a special gift that not many attain, and what makes me most proud.  Connor is going to be a force in the Monsignor Martin next season."
Xzavion Galarza-
RB: 36 carries, 100 yards
QB: 8 completions, 72 yards
WR: 22 receptions, 300 yards, 3 touchdowns
Licata continued, "When I saw what kind of player we had with Xzavion, I immediately wanted to find ways to get him the ball.  He is the type of athlete that some design in a video game.  He is shifty, smooth, and can make defenders miss.  Anytime we needed a big play, Xzavion was there to make it. The future is bright for Xzavion Galarza at Timon.  His role will continue to expand on our team."
