NEW PRINCIPAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Bishop Timon – St. Jude High School is proud to announce the appointment of Linda L. Cimusz as Interim Principal of the school for the 2017-2018 Academic Year.
Principal Cimusz brings strong and extensive public and private managerial and teaching experience to the position. She has worked as an Interim Superintendent, Rochester City School District; Chief Academic Officer, Buffalo Public Schools; Director of Academics, Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart; Assistant Superintendent for Instruction, Williamsville Central School District; and has held various teaching and managerial positions for the Texas Board of Education, Syracuse City School District and the Binghamton City School District. Among many significant accomplishments, she has designed and implemented numerous educational programs that have resulted in significant increases in students entering post-secondary education, reductions in drop out rates, and steady incremental increases in student achievement across content areas.
Principal Cimusz is a graduate of SUNY Cortland (B.A., Elementary Education) and Syracuse University (M.A., Urban Teacher Preparation Program) and has New York State Certifications in Teaching (K-6; K-12 Reading), School Administrator and Supervisor, and School District Administrator.
