Michael Larivey Valedictorian Caelan Schneck Salutatorian
The Class of 2018 claims Michael Larivey as its Valedictorian. Michael's cumulative grade point average is 98.50. Michael is a member of National Honor Society and has been a Student Ambassador. He ran cross-country and was on the Timon bowling team. His commitment to service has included raising funds for hurricane relief, altar serving, volunteer work at his church, Our Lady of Victory, installation of a handrail to assist persons with disabilities at his church; and bringing therapy dogs to nursing homes. Michael has been on the First Honor Roll with distinction and won a New York State Academic Excellence Award. He intends to study mechanical engineering at SUNY Buffalo School of Engineering next year. Michael is the son of Denise and Patrick Larivey of Lackawanna, New York.
Caelan Schneck distinguished himself in several ways. His cumulative grade point average is 96.85. He has participated in the Franciscan Men of Service Club and is a Student Ambassador. Caelan is President of Student Senate. He is also a member of the Health Care Career Club. He has run cross country and was on the crew team during his freshman and sophomore years. Caelan has been a counselor in the Buffalo Scholastic Rowing Association and is a member of the West Side Rowing Club. He is a swim instructor at the YMCA. He has earned "High Honors with Distinction" for all 4 years at Timon." Caelan, a resident of the City of Buffalo and the son of Earl and Denise Schneck, will attend D'Youville College in the fall where he will pursue a degree as a Physician's Assistant.
