Acceptance:
Timon uses a rolling admissions policy. Eighth graders may apply at any time in the school year. Applications can be obtained in each grammar school or by calling 826-3610 ext.237. Eighth graders who apply before November of each year will be notified in January of their acceptance. Acceptances are based on the results of the Admissions Exam, each applicant's marks for grade six, seven and eight, and letters of recommendation.
Admission Exam:
The Placement Exam is given to eighth grade students each November. This year it will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 8:30 am. The fee is $20. The “make-up” exam may be given by appointment. Acceptance letters will be mailed on January 20, 2012. Contact Mr. Comerford at 826-3610 ext. 237 or comerford@bishoptimon.com for further information.
Scholarships:
A number of academic scholarships are offered to incoming freshmen who excel in their course work in grammar school and score in the top percentile on the admissions exam. Scholarship Application
FACTS Payment Plan
This site will be used and updated to set a monthly payment plan to BTSJ. Information required includes your bank account and routing number. The parents/guardians will have access and the ability to modify or edit their account. This process from incoming Freshmen should be completed by the end of April and the upper class will be automatically re-enrolled.
