The Office of Advancement exists to promote the mission of Bishop Timon – St. Jude High School among our students, faculty, alumni, benefactors and friends, to partner with the community, to provide financial support and to increase the enrollment of the school.
In our service to Timon we are committed to:
Professionalism...
Conducting ourselves professionally in all aspects of our work
as representatives of Timon.
Passion...
Motivated by a passion to advance the mission of Timon,
to educate young men in the Franciscan Tradition.
Perseverance...
The very essence of our service requires
commitment to the mission and a recognition
that our work is truly never complete.
Bishop Timon - St. Jude High School is able to continue educating young men today due to the generosity of its alumni and friends. These special people recognize how being a part of Timon's Franciscan tradition has been an asset throughout the years and for this reason, they choose to support the school in a variety of ways.
While the cost of providing a Catholic education today to young men at Timon is over $9,000+, we recognize that parents alone cannot carry such a burden. This is why the Office of Adavancement is so critical. We work to bridge the gap between tuition income and the real costs associated with educating our students.
In the sixty-two years since Timon opened its doors back in the Old First Ward, the school has held strong to its Franciscan tradition. Friars and lay teachers were there, not only to challenge each student, but also to help set the foundation of faith that would sustain them through the years. Timon wants to ensure that this tradition continues and that is why we seek support from our alumni and friends.
There are several giving opportunities in which this type of support can be made. Restricted donations to a specific area of interest or unrestricted contributions can be made through the Phon-a-thon, Community & Parent Support, Matching Gifts, Capital Campaign, Planned Giving, In-Kind Gifts, Memorials, Scholarships and Tuition Assistance.
We rely upon contributions made by individuals and organizations that realize the important role we play in a young man's life. No matter how big or small the gift, you too can help! Click left to find out how you can support Timon through the various areas of giving.
