Green & Gold Golf Classic & Dinner To Benefit Tuition Assistance

Bishop Timon – St. Jude High School will host the annual Green & Gold Classic (formerly the Timon Alumni Golf Tournament) on Monday, August 23, 2010 at the Brierwood Country Club.
Green & Gold Classic offers a day of golf, cocktails and dinner while generating additional funds for the Alumni Legacy Scholarship.
“Many families can not consider a Catholic education for their sons because of their limited resources,” said Jim Hillery ‘51, longtime chair of the annual event. “The reality is that deserving young men do not have the opportunity to receive a quality education at Timon and acquire the Franciscan values taught at the school. This is the reason why we work so hard to make this event successful. It is for the boys at Timon.”
