Our Academic Intervention Services program provides academic support to students.
Students can be scheduled for sessions during the school day, and students can attend sessions after school as well.
Teachers work with students in small groups and individually to help develop the literacy and math skills that are critical to academic success.
Time management, note-taking, and study strategies are addressed.
Students receive additional preparation for the New York State Regents exams and class examinations.
Teachers providing this academic support also work closely with students who have Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
