Congratulations to Chris Rusin on his retirement from teaching! Mr. Rusin has been an integral part of our Timon staff since 1993 teaching Mathematics, Pre- Engineering, the Drone Curriculum, and is also credited with starting the Audio Visual - Radio Club.
Beyond academics, Chris never failed to light up a room with his witty demeanor or rock the house during a Talent Show. We hope retirement treats him well with and wish him good luck on any endeavors he chooses to take on!

Timon is proud to showcase our new painted bison that is on display on our front lawn. We would like to pay homage to the hundreds of alumni who have joined into public services as first responders.
A couple thank you’s to everyone who made this possible:
Christopher Whelan ‘90
Wayne Howard
Jennifer Russo
Assemblyman Patrick Burke

Timon STEM students used their research and investing skills to SIFMA Foundation's national Stock Market Game this year. Congratulations Gavin Krug '27 for winning first place for the Greater NY Region and was one of three regional champions in NYS out of over 5,000 participants!

Today Ms. Russo’s art class and Ms. Cavacos’ art history class visited the Buffalo AKG Art Museum. Our students used their knowledge and expertise from class to dissect different pieces from some of the most influential artists from the past couple centuries!

The broken power line has been repaired, we will be back in session tomorrow Thursday May 30th.
We thank National Grid, C&M Electric and our Timon Community for helping to get this fixed as soon as possible.

Bishop Timon will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday May 29. Crews from both National Grid along with our own privately hired electrical contractors worked diligently earlier today in replacing the power source damaged in last week’s storm. Unfortunately, due to a miscommunication among National Grid departments, electric utility has been withheld. This situation is incredibly frustrating and disappointing, and it was clearly communicated to National Grid that remaining open at this point in the school year is of the utmost importance.
Because the school is as of now without any power and we cannot guarantee when power will be restored, we had to make the difficult decision to close school again tomorrow. We will keep working with National Grid to get this situation resolved, and will send updates to the school community as they come in. We ask that everyone remains patient and we are hopeful that this will be resolved shortly.
Thank you.

Bishop Timon honors those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Fortes in Fide

Thursday evening we honored the 50th anniversary of the Class of 1974 at our Graduation Ceremony. Each of our alumni received an honorary diploma for reaching this milestone. We are grateful and proud of our strong alumnus representation!

Repairs to the damaged power system will take place on Tuesday May 28. Because the power to the entire building needs to be shut off during the repairs, school will be closed. We are expecting to be fully up and running on Wednesday May 29.

Due to severe thunderstorms parts of the school lost power.
National Grid is working on this.
Tomorrow, grades 9-11 will not have school.
GRADUATION IS STILL ON!
We look forward to seeing you then!

Mr. Tessina's class took on a new project in which they used software such as Adobe Photoshop and Canva to make their own personalized T-Shirts! Our students used Direct To Film transfers in order to make their creative ideas come into fruition!

For this years Senior Trip the class visited Orlando, Florida where they visited Disney Springs and the Universal Parks. The seniors had a great week long bonding experience together before they graduate this Thursday!

Our annual Junior and Senior Prom was hosted on Friday. Thank you to Pearl Street Bar and Grill for having us and helping to create memories for our students that will last a lifetime!
